I'm posting here again, for some quick updates:


UPDATED THE GENERAL INFORMATION SECTION. Now that real-life stuff is over for the moment, I can take some time out and go back to the story. That means fixing the info, of course~ :3

REMOVED ENDTIMES CHAPTERS. The revamp is due soon, so the chapters for Endtimes: Time is Running Out are temporarily unavailable.

UPLOADED BLOODSPORT PHASE ONE: MARCO POLO. yukitsu finished editing it, so it's up for grabs now.


I'll be fussing over the journal periodically, and I hope to update more regularly now that things are back in full swing. o_o

Anyway, presenting Marco Polo, the first phase of BLOODSPORT... I actually finished this last year, during NaNoWriMo. It was grossly delayed due to real life stuff and the fact that I needed someone (yukitsu) to edit all of the horrendous and embarrassing typos I made while I was rushing to beat the deadline. u_u

FOR ENDTIMES READERS: I might have mentioned this before, but Bloodsport is a sort of AU sequel to the main story. You guys may be interested in reading this to get a feel of what the new version of ET will be like.

BLOODSPORT and all characters/ideas/concepts/places therein belong to me, yukitsu, sindapa and archangel_dream. The titles of each chapter are taken from songs, and belong to their original artists.

On other updates:

1.) These past few months have been pretty crazy and Persona 3 proved to be highly addictive, so I haven't made much headway with the edits for Endtimes: Awakening. There should be a new chapter up for the latest edition of India & the Conundrum, but I'm not sure whether I can make the deadline for the next issue.

2.) I'll be putting up more separate pages for the offshoot projects once I get more time on my hands.

3.) ...NaNoWriMo is eating me alive. >_>

In spite of all the trouble brought about by Harume Morimoto and her proposed rebellion against the Methuselah, Netsach and its four Hunters somehow managed to emerge on top, with a little help from friends and all those neutral parties in between. Things are looking up for the branch, and for the first time in years all seems to be well.

Or so people like to believe.

Given the events that brought them together (and consequently, nearly tore them apart), Aidan Clayce and Rethe Kyriff find themselves at a crossroads in their lives, with their shared past behind them and an uncertain future ahead. Recent events haven't given them much time to sort out exactly where they stand, and it doesn't look like it's going to get any easier from that point.

It's at this point that fate decides to drop the job of babysitting on them both.

Bloodsport is a crossover of the three universes, two of which belong to fellow writers and good friends of mine: Endtimes from my end, the Freiraum from yukitsu and Cutthroat universe of archangel_dream, with some additions from sindapa. It is an AU-crossover-sequel of sorts covering a different spin on the events that take place after Endtimes and during Thick as Thieves and beyond. It is a prime example of how dangerous things can get when you have animu fans and bibliophiles on crack. @_@

Note that even though it has incorporated Time is Running Out into its timeline (and thus has a lot of spoilers for it and other arcs of Endtimes), this story can actually be read separately from the Endtimes continuum. Also, please be warned that it is heavily inspired by the RP sessions that I have with yukitsu and archangel_dream, except this time there’s actually a STORY to how everything and everyone came together.

It is the year 2062, decades after World War III and an equally devastating conflict known as the Black Christmas. Humans live in uneasy harmony with the otherworldly, and the Methuselah serves as a mediator. They are an international organization charged by the world government to police the supernatural and hunt down the ones who step out of line. When the Darkness falls, they are the ones who are called upon.

32-year-old Hunter Aidan Clayce finally drags himself over to the Methuselah’s base of operations on the fortress island of Arcis. It has been nearly a month since the death of his young partner, and this would be the first time that he would be reporting for duty since she was killed. Upon his arrival, Miriam Harper — chief of Netsach — assigns him someone new to work with, against his better wishes.

16-year-old Rethe Kyriff is a former eraser and drug addict from one of the largest crime syndicates in Southeast Asia. Top Methuselah agents had mobilized to retrieve Rethe upon discovering that the boy had a strange Gift yet to be documented in their database. Disregarding Aidan’s bad history with partners and Rethe’s own shady background, the Methuselah decided to partner them together, figuring that Aidan would take care of the kid.

And this is where the fun begins.

Endtimes: Time is Running Out is the original story that started the Endtimes universe, and now functions as the "pilot story": all of the major plot points and characters were established in this thread. Look to this post for archived chapters and updates.
